New to radio, but full of enthusiasm for building the local community and connecting its people with local businesses and exploring events around the wider county and home here in Newton Aycliffe.
Just now you’ll find me on Monday nights digging the tunes from the 1980’s, but ramping up and looking to add to the frivolity and introduce some new concepts to local radio too, so tune in!
I grew up here in Newton Aycliffe many years ago back in the 1970’s. As a kid we used to sipp the fizzy orangeade after a ‘Film and Swim’ in the Rec Centre and later munched on a ‘Devon Spilt’ from Crawfords the bakers.
Now returning home after working 20 years overseas in Africa and Middle East as a chemist in oil and gas, I have plenty of stories to tell!
